  • Condition: All three dishes have normal crazing and some age discoloration which is usual for this type of china. The smallest has a small chip and a tiny nick in the rim as shown in the last two photos. The middle size has a teeny-tiny rim chip and a pin prick with small circle discoloration in the bowl surface.

    Description

    Three, graduated, serving dishes/platters manufactured by W.H. Grindley in Tunstall, Staffordshire, England.  The pattern is Spring # 51058 and all three are marked with manufacturer and registration numbers.  The sizes are:  9 1/2" x 6 3/4" x 2", 8 5/8" x 6" x 1 3/4", and 7 1/2" x 5 3/8" x 1 3/8".
    This is a great find for the collector since there are three different sizes of the same "Spring" pattern!
