Vintage Large Sailors Valentine Seashell Art In Hexagon Frame

Large, vintage hexagonal Sailor’s Seashell Valentine made of wood and seashells. Artist unknown, but a name is engraved on the brass hanger that looks like Reta, Jeeta or Leeta. Excellent condition. All shells are intact. Back looks pieced, like it was repaired and stained. One tiny nick in stain, as shown in photos.
Older wooden back and frame are just under 10-3/4” across and a little over 1” deep. Seashell colors are vibrant red, yellow, lavender, white and shades of beige, black and gray. Brass hanger screwed to the back.
I acquired this highly intricate piece of maritime tradition in early 2000s from a small antique curiosity shop in Galveston, Texas. Displayed in a closed curio cabinet since, the open-faced piece is remarkably clean and dust free.
