    Description

Hi, I am Steve Pfeiffer, author of the book
Collecting Case knives - Identification and Price Guide
. I have been collecting, buying, and selling CASE and other brands of vintage and modern pocket knives since 1973.
I am offering some fine collectible pocket knives for sale. See my other auction listings for more collectible knives.
ROBT KLAAS SOLINGEN on spear blade tang.
KISSING CRANE logo Germany on each blade tang along with ROSTFREI (stainless).
    3-3/4” closed four-blade congress.
This is a high quality knife, older Solingen-made.
Pattern number 1747XIX on one tang. I believe that this dates the knife to 1979, but I am not certain.
All blades have strong snap, half stops, no wobble.
Nice genuine mother of pearl handles.
The back handle has a tight crack under the center pin.
A mint knife - never used or sharpened.
This knife has a factory flaw – the spear blade was over-polished, resulting in a shallow nail nick (on this blade only).
    My Stock Number S11393

The knife shown in the photos is the exact knife that you will receive.
All knives will be shipped promptly to you in a sturdy corrugated box.
Sales to USA Locations Only - Buyer must be at least 18 years of age.
Some states have started requiring eBay to collect sales tax on items going to these states. eBay has a list of those states that have started collecting sales tax in 2019 on online purchases. This is nothing I have control over and the sales tax is automatically added to your total by eBay if you reside in one of these states.
See my other listings for more collectible knives.
Any knives listed as having BONE handles have handles made of Bovine bone from the South American Zebu cattle.
Any knives listed as having STAG handles have handles made of Sambar deer antler - naturally shed.
