. I have been collecting, buying, and selling CASE and other brands of vintage and modern pocket knives since 1973.

Original vintage HEN & ROOSTER knife, pre-1975.
The spear blade has the Hen & Rooster logo over STAINLESS on the front tang, KAELIN on back tang.
Most likely made on contract for a retailer.
“Lobster Penknife” pattern, 3-1/8” closed.
Nickel silver liners and pins.
The liners have milled or gimped edges all around.
All blades have strong snap, no wobble.
Fiery mother of pearl handles. No cracks or chips.
Carried and used a bit, looks like it was never sharpened.
A few light handling rubs, some light patina.
The scissors is missing its spring – could be easily replaced with a Swiss Army knife scissors spring; I will leave that up to the new owner.
