GERMAN EYE BRAND ~ CARL SCHLIEPER ~ SOLINGEN GXY ~ MINTY ~ ETCHED BLADE ~ CANOE This EYE BRAND jack knife has a nickel bolsters, a nickel shield and a brass lining. The handles of this old folding knife are made of a yellow celluloid type material. The handles are in great shape with no chips or cracks. The EYE BRAND pocket knife has one wide clip point blade and one narrow clip point blade. The blades are in mint like condition. The blade is stamped CARL SCHLIEPER over an eye image over SOLINGEN over GERMAN. The main clip point blade is stamped GXY on the rear and is also etched CARL SCHLIEPER over HAMMER FORGED over SOLINGEN GERMANY with an eye image. The narrow clip point blade is also stamped CARL SCHLIEPER over an eye image over SOLINGEN over GERMAN. Both blades have an excellent snap. The closed length of the CARL SCHLIEPER GERMAN EYE BRAND knife is 3 3/4 inches.
