Description
Hi, I am Steve Pfeiffer, author of the bookCollecting Case knives - Identification and Price Guide
. I have been collecting, buying, and selling CASE and other brands of vintage and modern pocket knives since 1973.
I am offering some fine collectible pocket knives for sale. See my other auction listings for more collectible knives.
This is a vintage Case 06263 SS “Eisenhower Penknife” pattern pocket knife.
This pattern got the nickname “Eisenhower” because the Case 63 pattern was the favorite pocketknife of President Dwight Eisenhower.
Ike bought them in quantity for his personal use and to give as gifts to White House visitors.
The tang stamp is CASE XX STAINLESS 1940-1964.
The knife is 3 1/8” closed with nickel silver liners and pinned oval CASE shield.
Stainless steel blades.
The blades each have strong snap, no wobble.
Chestnut bone handles with great color.
The handles have no cracks or damage.
A MINT knife, never sharpened, carried, or cleaned. Original factory finish and edges.
Included is the older Case “pumpkin” box shown in the photos. Case used this style of box from the 1950’s through the mid-1980’s.
Also included is an original Case wrapper with PROPER CARE OF YOUR CASE POCKET KNIFE instructions. The wrapper is in good condition with normal handling wear, may have a few tiny holes, and minor tatters along the edges. Case discontinued the use of these printed wrappers in the early 1980’s.

Sales to USA Locations Only - Buyer must be at least 18 years of age.
Some states have started requiring eBay to collect sales tax on items going to these states. eBay has a list of those states that have started collecting sales tax in 2019 on online purchases. This is nothing I have control over and the sales tax is automatically added to your total by eBay if you reside in one of these states.
