BATTLE AXE, HICKEY & SHOUSE GERMANY.
GUADALCANAL blade etch. No year of production marked but most likely 1970’s.
A high quality limited edition knife, made by FR Olbertz in Solingen, Germany for Hickey & Shouse.
3-5/8” closed, split backspring “whittler” pattern.
Nickel silver bolsters, liners, and pins.
Fiery mother of pearl handles, no cracks or flaws. Brass liners.
A mint knife, unused, strong snap, no wobble, no problems.
Quality that cannot be duplicated today at any price!
This is a limited edition knife commemorating the battle of Guadalcanal in WWII.
Serial number 235 on bolster.
