Vintage 110 Buck Knife 3 Dot With Sheath USA 1980 - 1981
This is an excellent knife for a collector or someone who wants to carry and use a knife that is over 40 years old. Buck stamped these with 3 dots on the blade in 1980-1981 and then the run was over. It is said that a special grade of surgical steel was used during this short production period. The one year run makes them more scarce and more popular to collect. Try finding the 3 dot on EBAY and you will see what I am saying.
The 3 dots are getting very hard to find in this condition.
Knife and sheath are in great shape and the knife appears to be very lightly used with some very minor scratches on the blade. Knife locks up tight and closes with a snap. There is one little ding on the end on the brass as shown in the last picture. Overall great condition as shown in the close up photos.
