The medal of St. Benedict is approved by the Church, and by the power of Christ on the Cross is a strong protection for our Faith against the temptations of the Devil.
St. Benedict's Medal and Medal-Cross can be worn round the neck or carried with you as well as hung on your house walls. In case of sickness it can be applied on the infirm part of the body. In the case of sick animals, it can be put in the water they drink. Any time you use St. Benedict's Medal or Medal-Cross for these particular purposes, tradition invites to say five Gloria Patri to Jesus Passion, three Hail Mary to the Blessed Virgin Mary and a Lord's Prayer to St. Benedict. In order to enter more deeply into the sprit of devotion, it is advisable to say these prayers every day.
This medal is from Germoglio's flagship line "Precious Line" and is made entirely of Sterling Silver and is stamped 925. It measures 16mm in diameter (approx 5/8") and is shipped in its original packaging. A true masterpiece of Italian silver artistry!
