    Description

    This beautiful medal is celebrating a Holy Year 1975. it has images of four Cathedrals or Basilicas in Rome, or Roma as they call it. top is San Pietro in the Vatican. left is San Giovanni in Laterano, st John Lateran. right is Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiiore. and on the bottom is Santa Maria del Popolo. On the other side is two holy men with halos around their heads and the words Anno Santo Roma 1975. A wonderful piece of history. When i researched it, i did not find one with the Cathedrals on the other side. Rare? i think it was 1.5" and made of silver. it was cut out of one piece of metal. Hardly any wear anywhere.
