This is a used item. This unit powers on and spins when you press the button and pull down the handle at the same time. We are not able to determine how sharp the grater is. It does not come with the bowel. There is a crack in the round plastic cover on the end as can be seen in the last picture. We are not able to test this unit further, but it comes with a 30 day warranty excluding the grater drum.
