Nancy Ann Storybook Doll Saturday’s Child # 185, Plastic
with box
Doll is in very good condition.
Pretty face is excellent with no flaws. Body is excellent , jointed arms, legs, head movable and tight. No chips, cracks, mars etc. Red taffeta dress has no holes, torn seams, runs,spots and is crisp and unfaded. Closes with small brass snap. Gauze apron has no tears or runs or spots etc and has bright, lovely ribbon accent that matches headpiece. Short undies. Shoes are excellent no paint loss. Black eyes work well, open and close. Brunette hair is curly and bunched up in back under headband, which closes with a small brass snap, but hair curls have come a little loose over time—-still lovely. Has box but no tag or pamphlet so priced accordingly. Please see pictures. Smoke free home.
2009 Volume II Encyclopedia of Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls, page 173. Between 1947-1950 the company transitioned to plastics, which was the new wonder material used for many things. Many have a preference for Bisque, the older material, but Nancy Ann plastic dolls are beautiful, longer lasting in good condition. Nancy Ann value is usually based on rarity, number made or currently available or suggested prices set in first Encyclopedia Volume I, but the real value is to the individual, the likes dislikes, favorite materials, stories, themes etc. Buy what you love!

No Returns

Sales are final, unless I misrepresented a sale. I am sorry, but due to care of my invalid 91-year-old Mom, which limits my
eBay
workday, I  no longer accept returns. The processing is too time consuming and impacts care of my Mom and my quality of service to you, the buyer. That is why I sale only what I would buy and give the best details I can and provide good pictures. Thank you for understanding!
Payment

Payment is expected within 5 (five) days of winning bid or accepting “buy now/make an offer price”. Item is subject to relist and an eBay “fail to pay” case otherwise.
Shipping

I pack well and ship as cheaply as I can to keep costs down for buyers and still keep purchase safe.  I pre-weigh and box my items
before listing
using a certified postal scale and eBay’s shipping calculation services so there is no surprises for my buyers. Cost varies depending on
weight
of container, plus weight of item, plus weight of inside packing
materials
, and the
measurements
of container, and your
zip
code. Sometimes, you may calculate or request a type of shipping that is not feasible or available due to my not having available shipping materials that will make it possible to ship for that cost. Therefore, shipping is at my discretion. I usually ship first class or priority mail, except books and media, which I will ship media rate unless item is rare costly collector’s item.  If shipping and handling are less than you paid at time of actual shipping (Example: zip code, which I do not have until sale, may change pre-weighed calculation of it), you will receive a refund for the difference. I will either invoice you or refund with item. I use clean, and most of the time, brand new shipping materials, although I do recycle as much as I can to keep my costs down and pass on savings.
Sales Tax

Some state governments took some of the fun out of eBay buying and selling by the decision to have sales tax charges apply to eBay buyers. Combined Shipping
: I do combined shipping when requested, if possible; however, you MUST message me first and wait for my reply and instructions BEFORE you pay for your item(s) or request invoice. An invoice must be sent to you for this type transaction so all items will be under one tracking number and one shipping amount. If you have already paid for your purchase, I cannot combined it with another shipment.
Pictures:
I try to get the best pictures I can and true to color. I meter them, but sometimes the color may be off a little due to the light, which I cannot control perfectly. Therefore, I cannot guarantee a perfect color of item in my pictures. Please be aware of this. Ask questions, if needed.
Dolls
:
Dolls that I sale are part of a large and varied collection. I had to move and downsize my possessions in order to care for my Mom. I must let go of my collection of dolls and many other things. Some I have had since childhood; I am in my sixties.  Some I have acquired second hand to add to my collections over the years. It is time to pass on to the next generation or other collectors who still collect.
Feedback

I give my buyers feedback as soon as I can, after their payment and buyer has received item. Since I rate my buyers based on their follow through of purchase, promptness of payment, and good communication if they need to notify me of a problem in either of those,
I do not wait for them to give me feedback and base my feedback of them on their feedback of me
. That would be unfair.
However
, if I have represented myself and my items accurately and fulfilled my part of our buyer-seller relationship, including making right any errors in transaction,  I expect and very much appreciate the same prompt feedback, and I trust positive, from my sellers for me.
