• Condition: The lid has a flat chip on one corner as seen in the photos. The sugar bowl has a hairline where the handle attaches to the bowl, 1/4" of which goes above the handle and is visible from the exterior. The balance of both pieces are free of chips, cracks, crazing and fleabites. There are no notable marks from use and storage. The white is bright and clean and the patterns are bold. The bottom is marked with Grindley's steamship trademark and "W.H. Grindley & Co England" dating it 1891 to 1914.  It's a great looking piece even with it's flaws, perfect for display or use.
