Very Rare Plated Silver Vintage 1940's Serving Set by Christian Fjerdigstand for Christofle
The set consists of a round bowl ( also called porridger) with Bakelite handles and a Slanted Spoon/Ladle. The Set comes in a original silk lined presentation box from Orfevrerie Christofle.
Each item Marked 'Christofle' with the "O.C' hallmark for Orfevrerie Christofle
Measures:
Bowl Diameter: 8 1/4 inch (21cm) w/handles; 6 5/8 inch (17cm) without handles; Height 3/4 inch (1.8cm)
Ladle measures 5 1/2 inch (14 cm) long
Condition:
Good Antigue Condition. The bowl shows some scratches on the inside and on the back normal with age and wear. The ladle has has a small scratch ( see picture # 6) and small scratches on the side.
The box shows wear on outside and has some stains on the inside.
