. I have been collecting, buying, and selling CASE and other brands of vintage and modern pocket knives since 1973.
I am offering some fine collectible pocket knives for sale. See my other auction listings for more collectible knives.
This is a vintage CASE 62131 “Canoe” pattern pocket knife.
This is the older style Canoe with heavy blade stock and a single backspring.
The tang stamp is CASE XX USA 7 dot 1983 “lightning S”.
The knife is 3-1/2” closed with brass liners and pins.
The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel.
The blades each have strong snap with no side to side wobble.
The handles are “Appaloosa” bone with great color.
The handles have no cracks or damage.
A near mint knife - never sharpened or used, original factory edges.
One small tarnish speck on the back of the main spear blade near the spine.
The bolsters have a few light tarnish marks.
The knife will be shipped wrapped in a new CASE anti-tarnish wrapper and in a recent Case box.
