    Collecting Case knives - Identification and Price Guide
    . I have been collecting, buying, and selling CASE and other brands of vintage and modern pocket knives since 1973.
    I am offering some fine collectible pocket knives for sale. See my other auction listings for more collectible knives.
    This is a Case 6249 CV “Copperhead” pattern pocket knife.
    The tang stamp is the CASE XX USA year 2000 stamp.
    Limited run knife, scrimshaw on smooth natural white bone handle. Serial number 0224 on bolster.
    The knife is 4” closed with brass liners and pins.
    The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel.
    Both blades have strong snap with half stops.
    Both blades are tight with no side-to-side wobble.
    The smooth natural bone handles have no cracks or chips.
    A mint knife – never used, carried, or sharpened. Original factory blade finish and edges.
    The knife will be shipped wrapped in a new CASE anti-tarnish wrapper and in a recent Case box.
