I HAVENT COLLECTED ANY KNIVES FOR A FEW YEARS AND I AM SELLINGVTHE REST OF MY COLLECTION SO KEEP A WATCH OUT. Have several stag Schatt Morgan’s I’ll be listing etc.
So nobody really knows what to call this folder. Many think it’s a whaler snd it is not. It measures 3.75” closed snd almost everyone of these 11031 sh knives I’ve owned has a GATOR SNAP, STRONG PULL AND PROFOUND HALFSTOP! This is really the only case folder I ever collected. I love how tight and strong these knives are and several years ago, I could get the in unused near mint condition for ! I NAMED THIS FOLDER THE “SECRET SHEEPSFOOT”. Obviously they no longer are a secret. The mirror polished blade is made of 1095 high carbon steel. The bolster is polished nickel silver and the liners and pins are brass will the covers are walnut. Out of approx 120 of these knives I’ve owned, I’ve only seen one that didn’t have strong walk and talk and the back spring was broken on that knife. The blade is centered in the closed position and while they certAinly aren’t all like this one, THE BACKSPRING IS FLUSH AT HALFSTOP! I’ve owned several customs that this could NOT be said about. I’ve bought and sold and used and collected probably 1000 different knives by various makers, both production and custom, and this little walnut covered SECRET SHEEPSFOOT SINGLE BLADE FOLDING KNIFE IS, STILL, AMONG THE TOP 3 OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SLIP JOINTS. Thanks for your interest and kindest regards. If my knife sales start doing well, I will continue to list them and will likely run some on auctions as well as buy it now listings. So please check back for new ones I’ve posted.
