This wonderful teen is the first "Millennial" to be beatified!
The 1" nickel silver medal has the smiling face of Carlo Acutis on the front and an image of the Holy Eucharist in a monstrance, surrounded by growing wheat and grape vines, on the back. It comes on a 24" continuous stainless steel chain that has no clasp - just slip it over your head.  It fits over most size heads.

A gift bag and tissue paper
    Blessed Carlo Acutis Prayer card
    Blessed Sacrament prayer card
I love this young millennial who will someday be a "saint"!  Born in 1991 in England to Italian parents who were not particularly religious, Carlo grew up in Milan, Italy. He exhibited a great love for God
from an early age, along with a gifted intelligence especially in technology, computers and the internet. At 11 he was reading college level computer programming books!  He began to be interested in religious practice at 4, and the family's Polish Catholic baby-sitter answered many of his questions. He asked to receive First Holy Communion at 7, which he did after the family arranged for his instruction in the faith. Thereafter he attended daily Mass, saying that the Holy Eucharist was his "highway to Heaven."  Devoted to the Real Presence, as a young teen he developed a website that catalogued all of the known Eucharistic Miracles from all over the world which he completed in 2006, not long before he died of leukemia at age 15. Upon his diagnosis, he said he offered all the suffering he would have to undergo for Jesus, the Pope and the Church. He was also devoted to the Blessed Mother; defended disabled kids from bullies and volunteered to help the homeless; he assisted at religious classes at age 11 and was so knowledgeable in the faith, he became a Catechist at his parish. His mother and other family members returned to the faith through his influence. He especially admired as role models Saints Francisco & Jacinta, Dominic Savio, Francis of Assisi, Bernadette and Tarcissius.
After Carlo's death in 2006 his cause for canonization proceeded quickly; and the required miracle was approved in 2020 (a young boy born with a pancreatic disorder was cured after the family prayed a novena to then "Venerable" Carlo Acutis).  He was beatified on October 10, 2020 and is officially the patron of computer programmers and youth, although I would add "computer problems" to that, see my story below!
Now, for a personal story: I asked for Blessed Carlo's help when I had a computer problem - the computer and software program I used to make and print my prayer cards just stopped working properly, (they were old) and I had to transfer all my files to my new computer and buy another software program that was supposed to work with my old prayer card files - but it just didn't work right, and I was faced with re-making all 300 or so prayer cards from scratch. After struggling with the new program for a week, I asked our new Blessed computer expert Carlo if he could please help.  Two days later I started up the program and it worked perfectly and has ever since!
Thank you, Carlo!!! (which I say every time I print prayer cards now).
    Any questions please ask!
