This food processor boasts a continuous feed design so you can slice, grate, and shred fresh ingredients for just about anything on your menu non-stop, with greater speed and safety than prepping ingredients by hand.
Maximum Power, Maximum Safety
The CFP5D features a 3/4 hp motor to power through any task, but also comes with a built-in safety mechanism that stops the motor when the large pusher is opened more than 12" above the hopper opening. A plunger for the cylinder-shaped feed tube also helps to reduce the risk of injury by keeping fingers away from the cutting area.
5 Discs Included
This food processor comes with 2 slicing discs (5/64" and 5/32") that are great for slicing a wide range of fruits and vegetables. 3 grating discs (5/16", 5/32", and 1/8") let you easily grate and shred items like carrots and cheese.
Twin Feed Chutes
A 2" cylindrical hopper is perfect for processing long, thin products like carrots, cucumbers, or celery! For larger, bulkier items, use the 6" x 3" kidney-shaped hopper.

Will this food processor work for harder vegetables such as yams/sweet potatoes?
Root vegetables such as yams/sweet potatoes, beets, and parsnips are naturally hard and dense. Because of this, this food processor is not recommended for usage with those vegetables as it may lead to operational issues with the machine.
