    Hi, I am Steve Pfeiffer, author of the book
    Collecting Case knives - Identification and Price Guide
    . I have been collecting, buying, and selling CASE and other brands of vintage and modern pocket knives since 1973.
    I am offering some fine collectible pocket knives for sale. See my other auction listings for more collectible knives.
    This knife is tang stamped H BOKER & CO SOLINGEN. Marked on both blades.
    This is an older vintage pre-WWII era BOKER knife.
    “Wharncliffe Pen Knife” pattern, 3-1/4” closed. Brass liners.
    Both blades have strong snap, no wobble.
    Carbon steel blades.
    Pretty buffalo horn handles, no cracks or chips.
    Never used, carried, or sharpened, original factory finish and edges.
    The large blade has some deep tarnish marks around the nail pull at the blade spine.
    The blades have some blade rubs.
    Bolsters have minor handling rub marks.
    The large blade has some numbers written on the back in ink – appears to be the pattern number - this may have been a salesman’s sample knife.
