    Covered Tureen Serving Bowl
    Lambeth Pattern - Blue Floral Design
    This lovely Covered Tureen Serving Bowl was made by W. H. Grindley, England in the 1890's. The Pattern name is "Lambeth".  The tureen is decorated with a delicate garland of Blue Flowers.  There is light gold trim on the cover and handles.   The cover has a raised floral scroll design around the outside edge. The tureen has an oval shape with a footed scalloped bottom.  The top opening is 10" x 7".  The tureen is approx. 3 1/4" tall without the cover on - with the cover it is 6" tall to the top of the handle. The bottom has the W. H. Grindley Mark that was used between 1891 -1914. The mark has "Lambeth" has the pattern name and the date of "Oct 24, 99". Please see the pictures.
    Condition: The tureen is in very good used condition. There are no chips or cracks.  There are some brown small age/use marks on the inside and wear around the top inside edge.  The gold trim is worn on the handles. The floral decoration is in very nice shape. Please look at the pictures and email any questions.
